Online event. BHC presents the review of trends in public policy in the field of human rights - 2024
2024 appears to mark the end of a five‐year period of a new phase in Belarusian society that began in 2020. The peak of repressive policy at the legislative level was reached in 2023. In 2024, the state was “digesting” previous measures and even went into a second round, introducing new changes to already repressive legal provisions.
We will discuss these and other trends of 2024 on Thursday, February 20, 2025:
